Roamvisa is an independent travel resource focused on the parts of international travel that are hardest to get straight answers on: visas, entry requirements, travel insurance, and real trip costs.

Our team researches each guide using and we update pages when requirements change rather than leaving stale information live.

What we cover

  • Visa & Documents – application steps, document checklists, timelines, common rejection reasons, and links to official embassy sources.
  • Travel Insurance – plain-English breakdowns of what different policies actually cover, comparisons of well-known providers, and guidance for travelers with pre-existing conditions.
  • Hotels & Stay – destination-specific hotel picks across budget bands.
  • Cheap Flights – how to search well, when to book, and route tips.
  • Trip Planning – itineraries, road trips, family trips, and destination guides.

Our editorial principles

  1. Verify against primary sources. For visa rules, we link to the official embassy or immigration authority. For insurance, we reference the provider’s own policy documents. If we cannot verify something, we do not publish it.
  2. Write for the reader, not the search engine. Our goal is that a reader can complete their next step (book, apply, decide) after reading a single article.
  3. Disclose our commercial relationships. When we use an affiliate link, our Affiliate Disclosure applies. We do not accept payment for positive coverage.
  4. Correct our mistakes. Rules change. If you spot an outdated fact or an error, tell us and we will fix it – see our Editorial Policy for the process.
  5. No fear-mongering. Travel is a good thing. We will not scare readers into buying anything.

The team

How we make money

RoamVisa is free to read and has no paywall. We support the site through:

  • Affiliate commissions – a small commission when readers buy through some outbound links, at no extra cost to the reader. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
  • Display advertising – ads served by Google AdSense and other partners. Ads are separate from editorial content.

That is it. We do not sell reader data, do not run sponsored posts disguised as reviews, and do not accept payment from visa consultants or insurance brokers to route business to them.
